Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

The Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus, one of the world's most well-known dinosaurs, was literally the terror of the Cretaceous period. Thanks to its morphology, this creature was able to live in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. Its powerful legs and arms enabled it to bite, scratch and defend its territory. The Spinosaurus was both a bipedal and a quadrupedal dinosaur, always preferring the bipedal form for moving or fighting, and the quadrupedal form for resting or moving slowly to avoid wasting energy. This versatility made them a force to be reckoned with for prey and predators alike. However, it is thought that the Spinosaurus usually hunted fish such as coelacanths because of the shape of its head and teeth, which were designed for hunting in rivers or shallow waters. The Spinosaurus could blend into its surroundings by sinking its body except for its large snout, enabling it to breathe while waiting.
